چکیده

In recent years, the frequent occurrence of extreme natural disasters has caused huge economic losses, which makes it extremely important to improve resilience distribution networks. With increasing penetration DC sources and loads, urban network is transitioning from AC hybrid AC/DC configuration that can operate in a ring structure. The features flexible interconnections low losses lines break bottleneck traditional restoration methods for networks under disasters, thereby further enhancing Based on interconnection feature lines, this paper proposes topology search strategy with as core realize joint recovery multiple power critical loads. obtained after search, fault model maximizing index established. To ensure generality proposed explore advantages control, transforms objective function complex into mixed integer second-order cone programming (MISOCP) be solved directly. optimal enhancement by solving MISOCP model. numerical results case study validate effectiveness superiority method.

Prioritizing Resilience Enhancement Measures for Electric Distribution Networks Against Hurricanes

In recent years, climate change and increasing occurrence rate of high-impact rare (HR) natural events such as hurricanes have made it difficult to supply uninterrupted power to end-user customers. The extensive geographic area of electric distribution networks, as the last ring of the energy supply chain in power systems, has increased the vulnerability of these networks against natural events...

A New Index for Quantitative Assessment of ‎Distribution Network Resilience in the Presence of Distributed ‎Generations

Resilience is defined as the system ability to keep an acceptable performance level against a sever disturbance and to return to a stable condition in a suitable time. Occurrence of inconvenient weather conditions and natural disasters, which are growing in number and severity during the last years, has always led to damages and wide outage throughout the distribution network. Therefore the ass...

A MILP Model for Coordinated Charging of Electric Vehicles in Smart Unbalanced LV Distribution Networks Using Floating Charge Method

In this paper, a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model is proposed to solve the charging problem of electric vehicles (EVs) using floating charge method meaning that the EV, could be supplied by each of the three phases connected to a special bus. In other words, unlike a usual household load which is only supplied by a particular phase, in the floating charge method it is assumed that ...

Game Theory based Energy Efficient Hybrid MAC Protocol for Lifetime Enhancement of Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) comprising of tiny, power-constrained nodes are getting very popular due to their potential uses in wide applications like monitoring of environmental conditions, various military and civilian applications. The critical issue in the node is energy consumption since it is operated using battery, therefore its lifetime should be maximized for effective utilization ...

A Hybrid Algorithm for Optimal Location and Sizing of Capacitors in the presence of Different Load Models in Distribution Network

In practical situations, distribution network loads are the mixtures of residential, industrial, and commercial types. This paper presents a hybrid optimization algorithm for the optimal placement of shunt capacitor banks in radial distribution networks in the presence of different voltage-dependent load models. The algorithm is based on the combination of Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Binary Part...
